Video Stuffs

Video Shooting

Sir Rey told us some of the commonly used abbreviation and code name in photography and videography.

DSLR = Digital Single Lens Reflex

SD = Standard Definition

HD = High Definition

Full HD = Full High Definition

1080p = Video Quality that is best for HD

24 fps = (frames per second) when you want to create a cinematic effect

60 fps = Good for slow-motion

CF = Compact Flash

SD = Secure Digital

SDHC = Secure Digital High Capacity

Key notes to remember:

  • Always use High Definition (HD) when shooting for a video.
  • The mirror of the camera is always open when video shooting.
  • Shoot at the highest size, because it is easy to  decrease its size rather than to increase it.
